With this certificate, the tariff preferential rate for this batch of products imported into Serbia reached 6%.
After the implementation of the China Serbia Free Trade Agreement, our small household appliances, electronic devices and other products exported to Serbia can enjoy import tariff preferences. For example, the tariff rate for Bluetooth earphones and other categories has been reduced from 15% to 0%. Zero tariffs make our product price advantage more prominent and help us deepen our cultivation in emerging markets, "said Lei Mingwei, the customs manager of the company. It is reported that since the implementation of the agreement one year ago, the company has applied for 1044 certificates of origin from China and Serbia at Xiangzhou Customs, enjoying a value of over 116 million yuan in goods.
The China Serbia Free Trade Agreement officially came into effect on July 1, 2024. With the continuous release of policy dividends, Zhuhai enterprises have shown a strong growth trend in exports to Serbia, with exports of 174 million yuan in the first half of the year, a year-on-year increase of 18.5%. According to statistics, since the implementation of the agreement one year ago, Gongbei Customs has issued 1863 certificates of origin for enterprises in the customs area, involving exports worth 944 million yuan, mainly related to wind turbines, air conditioners, televisions, and small household appliances, bringing real benefits to enterprises.
