'Export engineering vehicle bonded warehousing' accelerates Chinese cars' journey towards ASEAN

          On July 16th, in Pingxiang Comprehensive Bonded Zone, Guangxi, a batch of 19 mixer trucks declared and transported by Guangxi Wantong International Logistics Co., Ltd. successively left the country through the Friendship Pass channel at the Friendship Pass port, with a long queue of tractor trucks driving in a spectacular manner.

          Traditional engineering vehicle exports suffer from problems such as "order fragmentation," "long delivery cycles," and "long customs clearance times." To address these issues, Nanning Customs has launched the "Export Engineering Vehicle Bonded Warehousing" initiative. By guiding enterprises to establish border export engineering vehicle reserve warehouses, tailoring regulatory plans, and providing "multi batch entry+batch exit" services, enterprises can flexibly export to the international market according to order needs, continuously shortening export delivery cycles. At the same time, a dedicated channel for bonded export engineering vehicles has been set up. In response to situations where export engineering vehicles cannot automatically recognize and pass through card logic verification, the "one ticket, multiple vehicle verification and release+one-time inspection and release" customs clearance mode has been implemented to solve the problem of high-frequency exit of engineering vehicles.

           After the implementation of the new bonded warehousing model for export engineering vehicles, export companies can arrange for engineering vehicles to leave the port as soon as possible based on the order situation and directly enter the Vietnamese market. The delivery cycle of car companies is greatly shortened, which can be reduced from the original 7-10 days to 1-2 days compared to the general trade export model. At the same time, the policy combination of "bonded warehousing+second-line tax rebate" can greatly alleviate the financial pressure on export companies.

          After adopting a new export model, our company exported over 6200 construction vehicles from January to June, a year-on-year increase of 1.2 times. Among them, 3100 were bonded warehouses, accounting for 50%. A single export construction vehicle can release funds of about 7800 yuan, and we can also expand our business with the saved funds. Since the beginning of this year, there have been more and more orders for the export of construction vehicles, "said Xie Qiaoji, the person in charge of Guangxi Wantong International Logistics Co., Ltd." The vehicles declared for export can arrive at the Chunjiang cargo yard in Vietnam in the afternoon, and the customs clearance speed is very fast

          Xiao Yuwen, a customs officer from the Friendship Customs Supervision Eighth Division under Nanning Customs, said, "Through policy reforms, we have attracted more and more domestic construction vehicles to be exported from the Friendship Customs port. In the first half of this year, we have supervised the export of 5717 bonded construction vehicles with a value of nearly 1.46 billion yuan. From the source of goods, 6% come from Guangxi, and 94% come from Shandong, Anhui and other places. From the type of vehicles, there are tractor trucks, cargo trucks, dump trucks, mixer trucks, etc. The bonded warehousing of export construction vehicles has become a new growth point for bonded physical business in Pingxiang Comprehensive Bonded Zone

          With the deepening of economic and trade cooperation between China and ASEAN countries, especially the continuous release of the dividends from the implementation of RCEP, in recent years, Pingxiang Comprehensive Bonded Zone has formed a three in one functional system of "bonded+cross-border+logistics". In the future, more and more domestically produced goods will be exported to ASEAN countries through friendly customs ports with the advantage of bonded goods flow.
