As an important hub for northern automobile exports, Tianjin Port, with its advantageous location and excellent business environment, continues the hot trend of automobile exports. According to Tianjin Customs statistics, from January to February this year, Tianjin Port exported 88000 vehicles with a value of 5.7 billion yuan, an increase of 73.2% and 91.8% year-on-year, respectively; Among them, the export of electric vehicles reached 61000 units, a year-on-year increase of 74.9%, achieving a good start to the new year
To assist in the export of automobiles, Tianjin Customs has established a "export automobile liaison officer" mechanism, providing 24-hour appointment customs clearance services, carrying out full process customs clearance policy promotion, and guiding enterprises to stack customs clearance convenience measures such as "early declaration" and "arrival inspection and release". Lead the establishment of a "customs, port, material, and enterprise" coordination mechanism to help enterprises improve the efficiency of vehicle short distance transportation, temporary warehousing, and other operations, and reduce customs clearance costs. Actively collaborate with relevant departments and port units, integrate port resources to achieve information exchange and joint supervision, support the construction of the Tianjin Port Ro/Ro automobile terminal, and provide high-quality logistics support for domestic cars going abroad. At the same time, Tianjin Customs improves the efficiency of port clearance through the construction of smart customs, understands the enterprise clearance plan in advance, establishes emergency response mechanisms, opens up a "green channel" for export vehicles to enter based on information systems, scientifically allocates clearance service resources in advance, implements "online appointment+inspection upon arrival", and continuously compresses the overall clearance time for exports.
